Women In Construction

“Breaking Down Walls and Building Bridges”
is the Women in Construction Club’s motto. The
club strives to “break down” the stereotype that
construction is an industry that is exclusively
attractive to men, and to “build bridges” with
industry members for an active exchange
of information and networking.Some of
the
activities the club engages in to enhance
its interaction with industry include:job
shadows,jobsite tours, industry panel
discussions, and dinners with industry
.

If you would like to just purchase a women's WIC polo please contact Michelle Meis, the cost is $25.

The goals of Women in Construction are to:
• Promote the construction industry as a career
   field for future generations
• Establish contacts with women in the
   construction industry.
• Cultivate effective communication on the jobsite
    and among project teams
• Encourage continuing education within the
   construction industry
• Enhance the success of women in the
   construction industry with the help
   from fellow male co-workers
