The mission of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of MCAA at CSU is to represent the mechanical aspects of the construction industry. The goals of the student chapter of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America are to: • Build student involvement, professionalism, and leadership • Introduce students to mechanical construction • Increase knowledge of mechanical systems • Help facilitate student-industry relations

Each year the MCAA club sends student competition teams to the ASC Student Competition in Reno and to the MCAA National Convention to compete against other mechanical teams from across the country. Next year's MCAA National Convention will be held in San Francisco, CA!
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of MCAA at CSU would like to thank our sponsor, The Colorado Association of Mechanical and Plumbing Contractors, for all of their support! They, along with affiliated mechanical contractors donated $700,000 to the renovation of the Industrial Sciences building!

MCAA Student Summit in Denver, CO - What a great event! This was a three day event that included over 150 students from across the country. We toured Invesco Field at Mile High and the Denver Justice Center!

Wednesday, October 21 - Volunteer for Make A Difference Day. The MCAA student chapter will be restoring a shed for Foothills Gateway!
Thursday, October 22 - MCAA sponsors an interactive BIM workshop! U.S. Engineering Company will be on campus to demonstrate and conduct an interactive learning experience on this cutting edge technology. The workshop will include 3D coordination, clash detection, and much more! There are a limited number of seats available (27) so sign up ASAP on Tuesday, October 20 in the front office of Guggenheim!
